Pink Shield

Rebuild.

For anyone rebuilding after violence: women and men, at home, in families or in their community. The idea is simple. A gym floor, a routine, and a crew who don't need you to explain.

Building · no partner gym yet

Pink Shield is not a refuge. A gym is a public place with a public address. If you need somewhere safe to stay, or you're planning to leave, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732, any time. If you're in danger now, call 000.

What the gym gives back

Four things a training floor can return.

  1. Chaos → Routine

Same floor, same time, same standard. Something to hold on to when the rest of the week isn't.

  2. Alone → Crew

People who turn up beside you. You don't have to tell anyone your story to train with them.

  3. Fear → Confidence

Every session you finish is proof of what your body can still do.

  4. Past → Future

Survivor is what happened to you. Fighter, student, coach: that's who you choose to be.

Pink Shield at school

BULLY has its own home now.

BULLY is being built as its own Android app for Australian young people, families and schools, at bullyyouth.com. It is not released yet.

What it's being built to do

Hold one button and your chosen guardians get a text with your location, or tap I'M OKAY to tell them you're safe. Nova, an in-app helper (not a person), gives pre-written guidance and points to Australian help such as Kids Helpline and eSafety.

What it can't do yet

  • Be downloaded. The Android release is still being prepared.
  • Run at a school. No school uses it yet.
  • Contact 000. BULLY does not dial emergency services for you. In immediate danger, call 000.
Today

What's real, and what isn't built yet.

Real today

  • Safety checks in DFC's AI assistant. Before any AI answer, a fixed check looks for danger, abuse or self-harm and shows Australian help lines.
  • A quick way out. Quick exit on this page, and a one-tap disguise screen in the app's Pink Shield room.
  • BULLY has its own home at bullyyouth.com. The app is in development.

Not yet

  • Pink Shield gyms. No gym holds the badge. When one does, it will be because someone checked.
  • Coach training. Not running. It needs family-violence specialists, not us.
  • Someone on call. Nobody watches messages around the clock. Use the lines below.

Tell us about your gym. The badge comes after a real check, so the next person who sees it on your wall can trust it.
